Experience the dazzling allure of Argentine Tango en vivo. TangoMundo plays at special concerts, festivals, theatre shows and private functions. With captivating rhythms, dense harmonic structures and lyrical melodies, Tango is an unforgettable musical genre.
TangoMundo performances can be tailored to suit your venue or special event. TangoMundo performs a repertoire ranging from traditional 1920s tango standards to rarely played compositions of Piazzolla; from obscure European tangos to original new works. Uniquely, TangoMundo specialises in the compositions of Astor Piazzolla, with over 60 of his works in repertoire.
On stage, TangoMundo evokes the historic, social and political impact of this cultural phenomenon, illuminating the music with stories, sensations and images. Programmes can conjure up the style of Parisian salons, the grit of Buenos Aires backstreets or the sophistication of contemporary concert halls.
